Formerly Midland Costumes, we have an extensive range of professional theatre Costumes available to hire. Established in 1980 by Ann Watkins, ST6 can offer design through to production of high quality costumes and stage props. We take pride in our international as well as national client base, which bear testament to the quality of both our products and service.
So whatever your requirements – just ask – from one bespoke costume or prop to entire productions – we can usually help!

 

Panto
We have a huge variety of professional large scale Pantomime costumes and props. These have played in major theatres nationally and are constantly renewed and refurbished. Consultation, design and manufacture packages are also available from full Panto to individual packages. Please check Panto page for current list of available productions.

Military
ST6 is well known to many re-enactment and historical event societies due to the size and variety of the Military costume stock that we hold for hire. We offer these for both theatre productions and individual hire. We are aware of the exacting standards required in this field, and can offer a bespoke service to meet specialist requirements.

Period Costumes
An extensive array of period outfits are available from our collection. Whether for a specific play such as those from Shakespeare, Dickens, Bronte, Pinter, Wolfe etc, we have production costumes to suit. Also available for themed events and Costume Balls.

Tudor Costumes
The costumes have been made to mark the 500th Anniversary of Henry V111s accession to the throne. They were worn by staff at Belvoir Castle, who had commissioned them for their 500th Anniversary celebrations. The Costumes have since been used to enhance the Tudor celebrations at Ford Green Hall.
The costumes are designed to display the colour, majesty and opulence of Tudor regal outfits. They are not intended to be exact replicas of specific Gowns, but we hope will give a glimpse of the splendour of Henry V111 and his wives.
